NCRMLS Launches Redesigned Virtual Screenings Experience

CASTLE HAYNE, NC, Aug. 23, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — North Carolina Regional MLS (NCRMLS), one of North Carolina’s largest and most recognized multi-listing services, will fully integrate the BrokerBay’s interactive 3D virtual presentations in its core product offerings as a new benefit for its realtors and appraisers.

Working with BrokerBay, Matterport and iGUIDE, NCRMLS will pioneer the industry’s first MLS virtual presentation service system. As a result, NCRMLS realtors can schedule and invite their clients to meet virtually in a 3D guided tour directly through MLS. The 3D guided tour is not your typical 3D virtual tour; our 3D tours allow real estate agents to chat live with their clients around the world, regardless of location and time of day.

Real estate photos have always been one of the essential pieces for showcasing MLS homes. According to research by the National Association of Realtors, photos are the #1 feature consumers look for when shopping for a home. However, real estate photography is changing due to the online needs of the buyer. Although necessary for any listing, static images of properties have limitations. Although the photos entice buyers to see the home in person, they don’t give them a clear sense of its space or perspective.
